Instructions

Preparation

 

1. Download the 3 separate Battery Wallpapers and save them in a folder called ‘wallpapers’ to the Files App within iCloud
2. ‘Select’ the wallpaper folder, then ‘Select’ the folder icon at the bottom of the screen
3. Tap on the ‘Shortcuts’ folder within iCloud Drive
4. Tap ‘Copy’ in the top right of the screen to copy the files to this location

 

Low Battery Wallpaper

 

1. Open the Shortcuts App
2. Tap ‘Create Personal Automation’
3. Tap ‘Battery Level’
4. Adjust the slider to 20%
5. Tap ‘Falls below 20%’ then Tap ‘Next’
6. Tap ‘Add Action’
7. Search ‘Get File’ and Select
8. Toggle off ‘Show Document Picker’
9. Replace the File Path with the relevant image title eg. “shortcuts/wallpaper/empty.png”
10. Toggle off ‘Error If Not Found’
11. Tap ‘+’ to set the action
12. Search ‘Set Wallpaper’, Tap ‘More’ and Toggle off ‘Show Preview’
13. Tap ‘Next’ and Toggle off ‘Ask Before Running’
14. Done.

 

Full Battery Wallpaper

 

1. Open the Shortcuts App
2. Tap ‘Create Personal Automation’
3. Tap ‘Battery Level’
4. Adjust the slider to 100%
5. Tap ‘Equals 100%’ then Tap ‘Next’
6. Tap ‘Add Action’
7. Search ‘Get File’ and Select
8. Toggle off ‘Show Document Picker’
9. Replace the File Path with the relevant image title eg. “shortcuts/wallpaper/full.png”
10. Toggle off ‘Error If Not Found’
11. Tap ‘+’ to set the action
12. Search ‘Set Wallpaper’, Tap ‘More’ and Toggle off ‘Show Preview’
13. Tap ‘Next’ and Toggle off ‘Ask Before Running’
14. Done.

 

Charging Battery Wallpaper

 

1. Open the Shortcuts App
2. Tap ‘Create Personal Automation’
3. Tap ‘Charger’ then ‘Is Connected’ then Tap ‘Next’
4. Tap ‘Add Action’
7. Search ‘Get File’ and Select
8. Toggle off ‘Show Document Picker’
9. Replace the File Path with the relevant image title eg. “shortcuts/wallpaper/charging.png”
10. Toggle off ‘Error If Not Found’
11. Tap ‘+’ to set the action
12. Search ‘Set Wallpaper’, Tap ‘More’ and Toggle off ‘Show Preview’
13. Tap ‘Next’ and Toggle off ‘Ask Before Running’
14. Done.

 

Charging / Not Charging Script

 

1. Open the Shortcuts App
2. Tap ‘Create Personal Automation’
3. Tap ‘Charger’ then ‘Is Disconnected’ then Tap ‘Next’
4. Tap ‘Add Action’, and select ‘Scripting’ then ‘If’
5. Tap ‘Add Action’, and select the ‘x’ to close the scripting
6. Search ‘Get File’ and Select
7. Toggle off ‘Show Document Picker’
8. Replace the File Path with the relevant image title eg. “shortcuts/wallpaper/charging.png”
5. Toggle off ‘Error If Not Found’
6. Tap ‘+’ to set the action
7. Search ‘Set Wallpaper’, Tap ‘More’ and Toggle off ‘Show Preview’
8. Now Tap and Hold the recently produced ‘Documents’ and ‘Wallpaper’ Actions and drag them up below the ‘If’ Scripting
10. Then Tap the ‘+’ and Search ‘Get File’ and Select
12. Toggle off ‘Show Document Picker’
13. Replace the File Path with the relevant image title eg. “shortcuts/wallpaper/full.png”
14. Toggle off ‘Error If Not Found’
15. Tap ‘+’ to set the action
16. Search ‘Set Wallpaper’, Tap ‘More’ and Toggle off ‘Show Preview’
18. Now Tap and Hold the recently produced ‘Documents’ and ‘Wallpaper’ Actions and drag them up below the ‘Otherwise’ Scripting
19. All automations are now complete, Tap ‘Next’ and Toggle off ‘Ask Before Running’
20. Tap ‘Done’
